Before and between software roles, I worked as a computer lab assistant, a dock hand at Elliott Bay Marina, and during college summers for Trident Seafoods in Alaska. That range still shapes how I approach engineering: understand the environment, respect the people doing the work, and make the system useful outside the diagram.
