Useful signal, kept in proportion.

This site uses Cloudflare to deliver and protect its public pages, and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views and performance. It does not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, remarketing, session replay, or visitor profiles.

What is measured

A small Cloudflare script sends page-view and loading-performance measurements from your browser. Reports can group these by page, referring site, country, device type, browser, and operating system. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not log URL query strings.

Cloudflare also processes ordinary request information needed to deliver and secure the site, including IP address, user agent, requested URL, time, and response status. Its edge reports provide additional totals such as requests and bandwidth.

Why

The purpose is operational: understand whether the site is reachable, which public pages receive attention, and where publishing or navigation can improve. I do not sell this information, use it for advertising, or use it to make decisions about individual visitors.

What the site does not add

Cloudflare Web Analytics uses no analytics cookies or browser-storage identifiers and does not fingerprint visitors or follow individuals across websites. The reports help me understand the site as a whole; I do not join them to customer identities. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies when a security feature requires them.

Who receives the data

Cloudflare receives the requests and measurements described here under its privacy policy. Read more about Cloudflare Web Analytics and its reporting dimensions. GitHub is not this site's live web host.

Browser extensions remain separate

Pageprint and Page Push do not contain website analytics code. This site's traffic reporting does not receive Pageprint screenshots, the pages someone prints, extension usage state, or license data. It also does not receive Page Push payloads, endpoint configuration, authorization credentials, or delivery activity. See the separate Pageprint and Page Push privacy statements.
