Your screenshots stay with you.

Pageprint creates screenshots locally in your browser and downloads them directly to your computer. The developer does not receive, store, or process captured pages.

What stays local

  • Captured page content and page URLs
  • Intermediate viewport images and the finished PNG
  • Your current scroll position while Pageprint restores the page
  • Your successful-capture count
  • Your cached Pageprint entitlement, after purchase

What Pageprint does not do

  • Does not upload screenshots or captured page content.
  • Does not operate a capture cloud or Pageprint account system.
  • Does not collect analytics, telemetry, advertising data, or crash reports.
  • Does not automatically monitor browsing or capture pages in the background.
  • Does not execute remote code.

When Pageprint runs

Pageprint captures only after you deliberately click its toolbar icon or invoke its keyboard shortcut. Chrome grants temporary access to the current page for that action. Unsupported browser and extension pages remain unavailable.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Pageprint's use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Page and browsing information is used only to perform the user-requested local capture, name and download the resulting PNG, and report that capture locally. It is not transferred to the developer or used for advertising, profiling, lending, or any unrelated purpose.

Local storage

Pageprint stores its successful-capture count in local browser storage. After a purchase, it also stores the license key, the license provider's installation identifier, and a provider-verified entitlement locally so ordinary captures can continue without an online license check.

Temporary page state

During a requested capture, Pageprint reads the page's current scroll position only so it can walk the document and restore that position afterward. It does not retain a history of scroll positions or other page interactions.

Purchase and license verification

The planned paid release uses Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record and license provider. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, card, customer, tax, receipt, and refund information under its policies; Pageprint never receives card details.

Activating, checking, or deactivating a license sends only the license key and installation identifier directly to Lemon Squeezy's license API. Page content, page URLs, screenshots, and browsing history are not included.

Removing data

Removing Pageprint clears the data stored by the extension in your browser. Downloaded PNG files remain wherever you saved them and can be deleted like any other local file.

Website analytics are separate

The Pageprint extension does not contain the analytics used on krwill.xyz. Website analytics does not receive Pageprint screenshots, page URLs, usage counts, or license data.
